Smallmouth bass is the only species Captain Dylan targets. This helps Captain Dylan stay focused and stay on the fish all season long! Captain Dylan also strives to teach you new techniques and strategies to help you become a better angler!

Dylan is born-and-raised in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin and has fished the beautiful waters of Door County since he was a boy giving him an amazing understanding of the area surrounding the Door Peninsula.

Safety is second to none. Captain Dylan is a Nationally Registered Paramedic which includes training in first aid and CPR.

Some of Dylan’s favorite areas include:

• Sturgeon Bay– Trophy spring smallmouths! I guide here during May & June for early pre-spawn Smallies.
• Ephraim– Although it is a popular spot amongst locals and tourists, Ephraim provides amazing Smallmouth habitat. This not only attracts large numbers of fish but also quality Smallmouth in regards to size.
• Fish Creek– Mid-Door smallmouth are the hidden gem of the peninsula, so many fish and a lot less pressure!
• Ellison Bay– Northern Door County at its finest! Fishing in Ellison Bay during the mid-summer months offers less pressured fish along with stunning views.
• Rowley’s Bay– Shallow water sight fishing along with pre-spawn giant smallies
